Backend Developer (Innsbruck)

Diversified and challenging tasks are waiting for you in our server backend team. A quick look at the sprint board in the morning tells you everything you need to know to get started right away. IntelliJ, Gradle, Git, Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot and many more form the mix of modern and well-tried tools - whether it's for working on our server product or on one of our microservices in the cloud. A simple bugfix can be done during your coffee in the morning of which you can report your success in our Daily Standup. As part of the team, you will then design a completely new feature: the import of data from a cloud provider. You will start with the implementation in the same afternoon. Your team members will also be available to help you with advice and support, and pair programming is also part of our practice.

These tasks are waiting for you:

• Continually enhance and add to our Java/Kotlin server backend
• Jointly develop our Cloud-hosted microservices
• Take care of system and services design and architecture
• Take part in ensuring strong software quality by means of test automation

You offer:

• Degree in computer science or proven software engineering skills
• Team player mentality
• Experience in developing production grade software
• Knowledge in applying agile methods
• High level of creativity and professionalism
• Fluent English, German is a plus
• Experience with Kotlin (is a plus)
• Experience with graph databases (is a plus)
• Experience with cloud and containerization, e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, GCP and AWS (is a plus)
• Experience with build tools and CI, we use Gradle, Jenkins or Pipelines (is a plus)
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate and other Java enterprise technologies (is a plus)
