New Backend Developer on Board

We've got a new team member on board!

We are very happy to welcome Dimos to our Development Team!

To give you some real first-hand insights of Dimos, his role in our team, and his first impression of Txture, we asked him some questions.

That's what I wanted to be when I was a kid:

Playing basketball was what I was mostly doing when I was a kid. So, I was only thinking of becoming a professional basketball player and playing someday in the NBA.

My hobbies:

Everything that takes me up (and down) a mountain.

You'll always find this in my fridge:

Vegetables, a lot of them, and different kinds according to the season.

My biggest dream:

As for my biggest dream, I will quote John Lennon: "Imagine all the people, sharing all the world."

This is why I wanted to be part of the Txture team:

The first call I had with the team immediately put a smile on my face. The enthusiasm, the motivation, and all the dedication to their work made me want to be part of that from the very first moment.

So why Txture?

Cloud Transformation is happening everywhere. Cloud is where the world of IT is moving to. So, Txture is in the middle of that change, and what better way to embrace the new era other than helping to shape it?

My role at Txture:

I will mainly work with the Backend Development team, supporting them to meet the requirements of this fast paced environment while at the same time delivering the best possible solutions to our customers.

My preferred tech stack:

Mostly Java and all the Java ecosystem tools. The tech industry is evolving and changing so quickly that my preferences depend a lot on the project and environment that I work in.
